K-12 Special Education Autistic, Life Skills, and Multi-Disabilities Support
Certified special education teachers will provide live, daily instruction to our students who have an IEP and participate in ASD’s autistic support, life skills support, or multi-disabilities support programs
Online students in Virtual Campus will remain a part of their brick-and-mortar homeschools
Students and families will continue to be supported by the Principals, nurses and guidance counselors they know and love
Students will be able to be involved in after-school programs and curricular field trips
Breakfast and lunch will be available for pick-up at home schools
Maintains elementary, middle, and high school daily start and end times of:
Elementary School – 8:45am -3:15pm
Middle School – 8:00am – 2:35pm
High School – 7:20am – 1:50pm (A) 8:10am – 2:40pm (B)
Students will take Unique or STAR Benchmark Assessments (as determined by student’s IEP team) and Pennsylvania state assessments; PSSAs or PASAs (as determined by the student’s IEP team) which are administered in grades 3, 4, 5, 8, and 11.
Students will receive instruction throughout the entire school day.
High school students that are full-time in-person will participate in Work Based Learning (as determined by the student’s IEP team)
Zoom will be used for live instruction, modeling, and observing student examples of understanding of instructed content and skills.
Unique will present additional content, practice opportunities and supports in English language arts, math and science. Please note: These online materials are only available in English.
Lexia and Dreambox online platforms will provide additional differentiated practice for all eligible students as determined by the student’s IEP team.
